Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho said his risky tactical approach had been vindicated after his side stunned Premier League leaders Chelsea 2-0 on Sunday.

United are now four points adrift of fourth-placed Manchester City in the table with a game in hand to play, while Chelsea's advantage on closest challengers Tottenham Hotspur at the top remains at a slender four points. They showed more desire, more ambition, more motivation to win.

While Man United's Premier League match against Chelsea has a clear impact on the title race and the battle for the top four, it also once again draws focus on Jose Mourinho.
