Liverpool have confirmed their 23-man travelling squad ahead of Wednesday night's UEFA Super Cup clash with Chelsea in Istanbul.

His holiday was just over two weeks before he returned to Melwood the day after the Reds' Community Shield defeat by Manchester City.

Chelsea meanwhile flew out to Istanbul after a 4-0 thumping at Old Trafford on Sunday and the manner of that result and performance is perhaps reflected in the Blues being priced at 5/1 (Bet 365) to win the Super Cup in normal time.

"My answer would be finally, I think it is time", he said when asked about Frappart's appointment. "Tiredness I think is here [pointing to his head]", he said at a news conference on the eve of Wednesday's match.

On the game itself, Lampard said: "I'm optimistic because I believe in the players and the fact that we are here in the final because we deserve to be".

Lampard thinks the huge attention garnered by the Women's World Cup in France this year - where Frappart refereed the final - proves more women should be involved in the sport's biggest matches.

As the interchange continues, the guy takes off his sunglasses - apparently getting ready for a physical interaction. But on Tuesday he put his peanut butter and chocolate together. "I'll f--ing ruin your sh-t, man", Cuomo tells him.

"I'm used to it. I'm here. Let's do it!"

Several names have been linked with a move to Anfield following Alisson's injury.

Adrian has been in now for his second week.

"We can not now do the hardest training with him every day and stuff like this, we have to make him match fit every day, that's how it is".

"He's a great lad to have around and obviously he is playing now, that is good for him and us". It's not the situation you hope to be in, that Alisson is injured and you have to come in.

But the central midfielder showed enough in patches to get supporters excited and is a real useful option to have in midfield. It takes a while, it takes a couple of weeks for sure, and we have to see. But after that we need to think about the Southampton game, we come back on Thursday and two days later we play Southampton, so we can not ignore that game as well. "He will definitely do the job".
