Villa, an outspoken Trump supporter, has become known for using her Grammy looks to make pointed statements. She carried a "Make America Great Again" bag alongside her silver dress with barbed wire on her shoulders.

Villa, who is of Latino and African American descent, attended the 61 annual Grammys in Los Angeles wearing a long white gown with a brick design, fake barbed wire that was wrapped around her back and a spiked headband resembling the Statue of Liberty.

"I'm part Latina. I'm black and I believe in what the President's saying", she told the Los Angeles Times.

On this year's red carpet, Villa made sure there was no confusion about the message behind her attire, which was created by L.A. -based designer Desi Lee Allinger-Nelson of Desi Designs Couture, the Hollywood Reporter wrote.

Villa is no stranger to shocking the crowds at the Grammys.

Joy Villa is back at the 2019 Grammy Awards - and she's making a political statement once again.

Our first amendment right is free speech, so we should all be able to weigh in and think about what the president does", she said, adding: "There's tons Trump supporters out there all of different colors.

Before sharing the backlash she's received over her controversial Grammys look, she took to Twitter on Sunday to address how she's willing to stand by her conservative politics. At last years Grammy Awards she also wore a white dress with a hand-painted baby inside of a rainbow uterus on it along with a purse bearing the slogan, "Choose Life". It's about protecting the people who are in this country.

"Well, I'm Ricky Rebel, I have a new album called The New Alpha so I wanted to wear something that represented what an alpha is and who an alpha is and I am the new alpha", Rebel shared with ET.

On the front of the jacket, the message read: "Keep America great".

"It's nothing new. But I believe he's the one that's going to get it done", she said of the current president. I want to "wow" people.
