Real Madrid superstar Cristiano Ronaldo has reconsidered his decision to leave Real Madrid after being publicly backed by club president Florentino Perez, according to Spanish daily AS.
Florentino Perez has rejected claims that Manchester United and Real Madrid have agreed terms on a deal that would see Alvaro Morata leave for the Premier League.
In 2009, Perez - then in his second spell at the club - signed Ronaldo for Real for a then world-record fee of £80m.
A two-time La Liga victor, his 285 goals in 265 league appearances mean he is second only to Barcelona's Lionel Messi in that competition.
"We want to keep all our players next season, including James", said Perez.
"I have not talked to him or his father.
I don't have any solution, but Cristiano, like everyone else, has a contract and is a Real Madrid player", Perez told radio station Onda Cero after earning a third consecutive mandate at Real.

Manchester United and Paris Saint-Germain were quickly linked with lavish bids to sign Ronaldo, with Perez confirming he would speak to the player in an attempt to resolve the situation as he offered a strong public defence of the player's integrity.
This news as expected, has created a media circus around the world as there has been speculation that Ronaldo might make an unprecedented return to Manchester United with others linking the Madrid star to PSG, the MLS as well as China.
Prosecutors claim that the 54-year-old manager failed to declare income of €1.6 million in 2011 and €1.7 million in 2012, "with the aim of obtaining illicit profits".
Ronaldo and Mourinho are the latest members of the soccer elite to be accused of tax fraud in Spain.
According to reports, Ronaldo's treatment in Spain over the allegations has led to wanting a departure, despite winning three of the last four Champions League crowns with the club.
Those allegations were denied in a statement by Ronaldo's management company Gestifute, while Real Madrid say they have "full confidence" in a player who "will prove his total innocence in this process".
