If the panel can't break its impasse, O'Neill could declare a hung jury and a mistrial. He will return to the courthouse Friday morning for the fifth day of deliberations.

Cosby has been charged with three counts of aggravated sexual assault.

The judge sent them back to the jury room to keep talking. One, more upbeat, nodded along.

So far, jurors have asked seven questions during their deliberations.

Wyatt spotted Joe Molinaro, his wife and two children outside the Montgomery County Court House earlier in the week. He says he believed a chat with the family from Plymouth Meeting would brighten Cosby's spirits. "We have said from the very beginning that this case is unprecedented".

Judge O'Neill has said he will not set a time limit in how long the jurors have to find consenious.

About 50 women have made allegations against Cosby. He did not testify during the trial, but Constand did, speaking publicly about the alleged incident for the first time as she stepped up to the witness stand last week (ends09Jun17).

Andrea Constand tweeted the video Thursday. It ended with a phrase scrolling down the screen reading: "ALWAYS FOLLOW THROUGH".

Cosby used his power and fame to violate Constand, an employee of Temple University's basketball program, prosecutors argued during the trial. It was at Temple she met Cosby, a member of the board of trustees. He says it was consensual. "If you've reached a unanimous decision on some of the charges, please report that back to me", he said. In 2014, Cosby's history of alleged sexual assault resurfaced after comedian Hannibal Buress referenced it while performing at a Philadelphia comedy show, with the clip becoming a viral hit.

Addressing reporters, civil rights lawyer Gloria Allred said she was disappointed with the deadlock.

There were fans and protestors outside of the courthouse, with some of them protesting the news and others hugging one another in happiness. But the atmosphere remains calm, with accusers and supporters even holding hands.

As they pored over Cosby's words, the jurors appeared to struggle with some language in one of the charges against him: "without her knowledge".

"I was really nervous and wasn't able to recall every particular moment that I had seen Mr. Cosby in order of dates", she explained.

The jury's note, delivered a few minutes after 11 a.m. on Thursday, raised the possibility that the closely watched case might end in a mistrial, leaving it to prosecutors to decide whether to seek a retrial.

"In keeping to our deliberation schedule, it is 9:00pm", the distracted judge scowled. In those interviews, Cosby admitted to sexual contact with Constand and said they had previously had a romantic encounter.

Cosby, 79, was inside the courthouse waiting for the jury verdict on charges of drugging and sexually assaulting Andrea Constand, then a college administrator, in 2004.

In late 2014, dozens of women went public with accusations that Cosby drugged and sexually assaulted them over the course of his lengthy comedic career. The investigation was moved to Montgomery County, but did not result in charges at the time.

The jury deliberations have stretched across four days. Thursday morning's motion was denied by the judge.

In it, he claimed Constand showed no ill effects from the 1½ Benadryl pills he gave her to help her relax and that she never objected to his behavior during the encounter.

Cosby could face ten years in prison for each count if convicted.

The sequestered jury has been at it for more than 27 hours since getting the case Monday.

Constand was a standout basketball player at the University of Arizona who did a brief stint in the Italian Women's Basketball League.
