Apple has announced updates to its iMac line at WWDC, giving its all-in-one desktop more powerful specifications and the latest Intel chips. The Fusion Drive will now be standard on all 27 inch configurations as well as the high-end 21.5 inch iMac. The processor is Intel core i5 dual-core, and clock speed of 3.1GHz, with up to 3.5Ghz Turbo Boost. When it launches in December, Apple's new iMac will be priced at, yikes, $4,999. Other Xeons with 8- and 10-cores will be configurable. The new MacBook, MacBook Pro and MacBook Air are available to order on Apple official website starting from today, while the Indian pricing and availability is not known at the moment. With AMD's next-generation compute cores and up to 16GB of HBM2 the iMac Pro with Vega GPU delivers up to 11 Teraflops of single-precision compute power for real-time 3D rendering and immersive, high frame rate VR.

For those that were waiting for the Mac Pro, you will need a little more patience as Apple has unveiled just the iMac Pro for now. "We reengineered the whole system and designed an entirely new thermal architecture to pack extraordinary performance into the elegant, quiet iMac enclosure our customers love - iMac Pro is a huge step forward and there's never been anything like it".

Despite the massive leap in computational power, Apple claims they will be able to maintain the same thin iMac design by increasing the cooling efficiency by up to 80%. All SSD storage options are now up to 50 percent faster while Thunderbolt 3 is onboard as well. 10Gb Ethernet is on board. Prices start at $1,099, for the regular 21.5 inched variant, while the 4K variant starts at $1,299.The 27 inched iMac begins at $1,799. This 21.5-inch iMac also has the option of Radeon Pro 555 with 2GB of video RAM for graphics or a Radeon Pro 560 with 4GB of video RAM. The 21.5-inch iMac will have up to 32GB in memory, and the 27-inch will go up to 64GB. All the new iMacs come with Thunderbolt 3 ports.

New Apple Operating System Will Include 'Do Not Disturb While Driving' Feature
If Apple is successful, sales generated by apps with AR may increase the company's fast-growing and profitable services revenue. For a final verdict on how well Files gets the job done, we'll have to get to play with the final iOS 11 release.

Updates to the 12-inch MacBook and flagship 13-inch and 15-inch MacBook Pros also included Intel's Kaby Lake processors to make the laptops more efficient, and could result in improved battery life. The iMac Pro will also allow for up to 128GB ECC memory, along with up to 4TB using SSDs.

Apple's new MacBooks will run the firm's newly-outed macOS High Sierra operating system. When it's ready it will be distributed as a free update to compatible Macs from the Mac App Store.

High Sierra is now in developer preview but a public preview will arrive in late June.
