Mumbai: Looks like Will Smith is all set to fight himself in Ang Lee's ' Gemini Man'.
Assuming the stars align, Gemini Man would herald an opportunity for the actor to delve deep into the world of science fiction, something that we haven't seen from Smith since Men in Black 3 - After Earth notwithstanding - so we're intrigued to discover how this one pans out.
Will Smith has been in the public eye since his Fresh Prince of Bel-Air days, making the jump to blockbusters with Independence Day and Bad Boys. And now news is breaking that Will Smith is being tapped to play the film's lead.
The role promises a breathtaking battle between an aging assassin and his clone, who is 25 years younger and at the peak of his physical and mental capacities.

Her team is the best at everything in the Empire: ground battle, flying, sabotage, spying, everything. Vehicles work a lot like heroes in that they can be upgraded and customized to how you want to play.
Smith is yet to officially sign on the dotted like, and is also looking at another opportunity - playing the role of the Genie in Disney's live-action remake of Aladdin. However, the project was considered impossible to be filmed due to the lack of technology. The original plan was to have to separate actors, one older (Harrison Ford) and one younger (Chris O'Donnell), play the same main character.
First pitched to Disney in 1997 by Darren Lemke, the writer of Goosebumps, the script was tossed around through Hollywood for years. I've embedded that sizzle reel below, and it shows how cool the concept of this film could be if it had been made with Eastwood as the star.
Ang Lee - crowned with Best Director Oscars in 2006 and 2013 for Brokeback Mountain and Life of Pi - is also working on Thrilla in Manilla, based on the third and final boxing match between Mohamed Ali and Joe Frazier.
