At the Code Media conference in February, Apple said the show would debut in April and be available only to Apple Music subscribers.
Apple Music is a subscription based service for Mac and iOS devices that costs $10 a month. The announcement was coupled with a trailer consisting of some of the most-loved celebrities such as Will Smith, John Cena, Shaquille O'Neal, Ariana Grande, James Corden and others.
The series had been scheduled to launch in March, according to Reuters, but was pushed out to April only days before a scheduled premiere party.
We're not sure why Apple has delayed its first series (we've reached out to the company for comment and will update if it responds), but the optics aren't great. This week, the company again postponed its launch party, which had been rescheduled for Monday.

In the election he vowed to withdraw from the 23-year-old pact, calling it a United States job killer. The Canadian officials called the subsidy allegations "baseless and unfounded".
All an Apple spokesperson would say is, "Carpool Karaoke: The Series will premiere on Apple Music later this year".
Apple will launch 16 half-hour episodes of the show that pairs two celebrities spending the day driving around and singing together. Corden's Karaoke rides have generated billions of views on YouTube, and we have few reasons to doubt that the new episodes would perform differently, if made exclusive to Apple Music subscribers only.
"We love music, and Carpool Karaoke celebrates it in a fun and unique way that is a hit with audiences of all ages", Apple executive Eddy Cue said at the time.
