China threatens to quell Hong Kong protests
The U.S. Trade Representative's Office on August 13 published a notice delaying the imposition of a 10 percent import tariff on a range of consumer goods, including laptops, cell phones, and video game consoles. On Thursday, China's Foreign Ministry said Beijing had noted Trump's comment that Beijing needed to resolve the Hong Kong crisis on its own. Rutledge said it's important for investors to take things "one day and one data point" at a time, according to CNBC .
