The Sims 4 may not have reached the same heights of popularity as past games in the series, but if you have ever wanted to give it a go, then now is the ideal time.

EA is offering this free promotion for a limited time.

Despite stumbling at launch and not receiving the universal acclaim of its predecessors, The Sims 4 has since blossomed into a wonderful game and now stands tall as the "ultimate" sims experience with its feature-filled add-ons.

Remember, the offer ends at 10 a.m. PST / 1 p.m. EST on May 28, so be sure to claim your copy of The Sims 4 before then. You can download The Sims 4 for free - a pretty good deal considering the usual retail price of R749.95 for the Sims Deluxe Digital Edition or R599.95 for the Standard Edition.

But what's that old saying... don't hate the player, hate the game?

Why F1 legend Fernando Alonso is NOT allowed at Indy 500
Numerous issues were beyond Brown's control. "Unfortunately, it was a little short, but it was a great day for the team". Alonso had another electrical issue on opening day for the 500 and the alternator and wiring loom had to be replaced.

Of course, getting the base game is just the beginning. In April, they announced the release of a expansion pack, game pack, and stuff pack.

Simply go to the game's store page on Origin and click on the orange button to add it to the library.

Gaming website Origin is allowing people to download The Sims 4 for free. The game is normally priced at around US $40 (roughly P2,100), and while the free copy won't include other downloadable content or game packs, you'll get to play-and keep-the base game for free!
