Now, according to Deadline, the same might happen for Mike Judge and Greg Daniels' cult classic cartoon King of the Hill.

It looks like the beloved animated series King of the Hill could be set to join the likes of The X-Files, 24 and Prison Break, with Fox Chairman and CEO Dana Walden revealing that the network has had talks about reviving the show.

FOX is considering bringing back one of their long-running animation staples.

That may be exciting for fans of propane and propane accessories, but it's important to highlight just how preliminary these conversations are.

"I would like to explore that", Walden said about bringing the characters into the modern political and cultural climate.

The show ran from 1997 - 2009, amassing 259 hilarious and unforgettable episodes before Fox chose to pull the plug. We had very preliminary conversations about what's going on in the country and how those characters would respond. Is there potential in that future?' Judge is now writing and directing HBO's Silicon Valley and Daniels produces People of Earth on TBS, but Walden met them earlier this summer.

The series centered around the Hill family from Arlen, Texas, and particularly its patriarch, conservative, middle-class propane sales Hank Hill, voiced by Mr. Judge. They both agreed that they would be interested, but since both are very busy-Daniels with People Of Earth and Judge with Silicon Valley-Walden said it's something they'd have to revisit later.

Every movie is a sequel, vinyl sales are on the rise and everybody wants their favorite shows to come back.
