Panasonic has launched Eluga A3 and A3 Pro, at a launch event in New Delhi. The Eluga A3 is priced at Rs. 11,290, whereas the Eluga A3 Pro will be retailing at 12,790.
Both of them are juicedup by a 4000mAh battery and comes equipped with company's in-house virtual assistant Arbo. "Customers will continue to look for technology which will shape the product interface and the way we interact with our smartphones", Manish Sharma, President and CEO, Panasonic India and South Asia, Vice President, Appliances Company and Executive Officer, Panasonic Corporation said. Both the smartphones features a 5.2-inch HD display with a screen resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels. Both the phones have 3GB of RAM but while the A3 has 16GB internal storage, the A3 Pro has 32GB internal storage.
A 1.25 GHz, MTK 6737 Quad-core chipset powers the Eluga A3 while 1.3GHz, MTK6753 Octa-core processor powers the Eluga A3 Pro. The main highlights of the smartphones are their Android 7.0 Nougat OS, a massive 4,000mAh battery and an artificial intelligence (AI) assistant, called Arbo.

Both the Eluga A3 and Eluga A3 Pro boast of a full-metal body design with a front mounted fingerprint scanner and more or less identical specs. The phones will have a 13-megapixel rear camera with Phase detection autofocus and LED flash, while the front has an 8-megapixel camera. The A3 Pro supports Wi-Fi 802.11b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, and a micro USB 2.0 charging port. Sensors include Fingerprint sensor, Ambient light, Accelerometer, Proximity, and OTG. Both the new smartphones will be made available for purchase in India starting tomorrow (August 10) via Panasonic official stores as well as all leading offline retail stores across the country in Mocha Gold, Gold and Grey colour options. Apart from a few specifications, both the Eluga A3 and A3 Pro shares the same hardware.
Panasonic A3 Pro gets a 5.2-inch Full HD display, and it runs Android 7.0 Nougat. It measures 148.7 x 72.4 x 9.1 mm and weighs 161 grams. Panasonic has added a 4000 mAh battery to ensure long battery life.
