BlackBerry KEYone for Sprint launches July 14

Starting tomorrow, customers on Sprint will find the KEYone from BlackBerry available for purchase online, with in-store availability beginning later this month. The KEYone is already available unlocked from Best Buy, Amazon, and BlackBerrys website for $549. Sprint is surprisingly first out of the gate as far as carrier releases go in the States, but we're hopeful (like REALLY hopeful) that they won't be the last.

BlackBerry hasn't officially acknowledged the supposed release date of the KEYone on Sprint's network. So, how is this going to work and when will you be able to buy the phone?

Fancy BlackBerry's latest KEYone handset? The phone runs on the Android 7.1 Nougat OS, and is powered by a Snapdragon 625 processor along with an Adreno 506 GPU. The phone is also quite secure, which has always been one of BlackBerry's strongest offerings.

However, when two other customers asked about the Sprint variants availability, Sprint representative Sprint_Carlos assured that the BlackBerry KEYone “is expected to launch for online direct ship ordering starting [July 14 2017].

Sprint is offering the KEYOne for an easy installment of $22 each month for 18 months, notes The Verge. The phone would soon be made available across Sprint stores all over the U.S. later this month. "It pairs perfectly with Unlimited Freedom, giving Sprint customers the convenience of unlimited data on an incredibly powerful and security-conscious smartphone".
