Reigning world champions Germany and Latin America champs Chile finished their 2017 FIFA Confederations Cup group stage encounter in Russia's Kazan on Thursday with 1-1 draw.

"Against Chile it will be entirely different", said Loew, who will be trying to win his 100th match as Germany's national team coach.

"I thought we played really well".

"Now we need to rest and recover". Lars Stindl equalised just before the interval. The 28-year-old Gladbach player is not the most likely to earn himself a World Cup ticket, but it's hard to fault his efforts to make an impression as simultaneously one of the oldest and yet least experienced internationals in this German squad.

"But the result is not undeserved".

The two teams will progress to the last four if they avoid defeat in their final matches on Sunday, Chile facing Australia and Germany up against Cameroon.

Germany and Chile traded first-half goals, but played defensively in the second, ultimately settling for a 1-1 draw that leaves both teams on four points.

Germany had the experience and pedigree of Marc-Andre Ter Stegen, Shkodran Mustafi, Julian Draxler and Emre Can in their theam, but Jochim Low's team remained largely a young one against the full-strength Chileans.

"I am so happy with how things are going at the moment, but all that matters now is the next game".

Heaggan-Brown and two other officers were doing overtime patrol on August 13 prior to the start of their regular 4 p.m. shifts. Milwaukee's Sherman Park neighborhood was calm Wednesday night after the jury acquitted the former officer.

"I'm very proud of the intensity we played with", said Chile coach Juan Antonio Pizzi. Chile, on the contrary, is much more flexible.

"Both teams are very ambitious, so sometimes they neutralise each other".

"But again we'll need to be on our highest level if we are to beat them, and we have to beat them to keep up our chances to go further than the first round". Sanchez plays a one-two with Vidal and coolly fires home at the near post after a huge error at the back by Mustafi.

"Unfortunately we went behind after a bad pass, that kind of mistake is punished, but the team s reaction was very good", said Loew.

Vargas, who has 34 goals for Chile, nearly added to the lead in the first half with a powerful shot that struck the crossbar.

Despite the early scare, Germany regained their composure and pushed forward.

Joachim Low heaped praise on Germany's Lars Stindl for his "excellent performance" after helping to secure a point against Chile at the Confederations Cup.

While they weren't punished on the scoreboard during a one-way first half, Australia battled back into the contest in Sochi.

Vidal and Bayer Leverkusen's Charles Aranguiz shaded the battle with Germany's defensive midfielder Sebastian Rudy, who will also join Bayern next season, and Liverpool's Can.
