Ali said 61 people with severe injuries were airlifted to a hospital in Peshawar, a main city in Pakistan's northwest.
Officials in Quetta said the number of dead had risen by one to 14 after a blast in the southwestern city which targeted police. There were conflicting claims of responsibility for this attack from different extremist groups.
Elsewhere in the country, in the port city of Karachi, gunmen opened fire on police, killing at least four officers before fleeing the scene.
The bombing came ahead of the Muslim holiday of Eid-al-Fitr, which follows the holy month of Ramadan, expected to end this weekend. TV footage showed panicked people rushing to safety following the Parachinar market bombings.
Twenty-seven people were killed and 175 people were hurt in Parachinar, a town in the Kurrum Agency, when two bombs exploded in a market, local political agent Basir Khan told CNN.
Parachinar is located about 300 kilometres (180 miles) southwest of Peshawar.
Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif condemned the attacks, saying that terrorists involved in the attacks will be taken to task and all out efforts will be taken to eliminate terrorism.
Nancy Pelosi: 'I'm worth the trouble.' Conservatives agree
But Pelosi continues to command great loyalty from many in the House, and she insisted her position was not in jeopardy. Pelosi also responded to President Donald Trump's tweet that ousting her "would be very bad for the Republican Party".
The explosion near the police chief's office in Quetta, the capital of Baluchistan province, was powerful enough that it was heard across the city, shattering windows of nearby buildings, said police spokesman Shahzada Farhat.
Anwarul Haq Kakar, a spokesman for the provincial government, said the bomb was planted in a moving auto, but officers were trying to determine whether it was a suicide attack.
So far, no group has claimed responsibility for the attack.
The competing claims could not be reconciled.
It may be mentioned that arrest of Kulbhushan Jadhav was announced by Pakistan in March 2016 and he was tried and sentenced to death by Field General Court Martial (FGCM) of Pakistan Army.
"Today's incidents of terrorism in Pakistan link with new video of Kulbushan Jadhav in which he sought mercy from Chief of Pakistan Army COAS Qamar Bajwa while again admitting charges of espionage against him", claimed an official of law enforcing agencies with a commitment of hiding his identity as he is not authorized to talk to media persons. It also reiterated that the proceedings against Jadhav have been shrouded "in opacity".
Quetta is the capital of Baluchistan province, which has always been the scene of a low-level insurgency by Baluch nationalists and separatists, who want a bigger share of the region's resources or outright independence.
