Meanwhile Ronaldo, who recently paid an extra $7 million in back taxes for 2014, claims he's not too anxious about the proceedings.
Ronaldo's guilt or innocence remains to be seen.
A Spanish state prosecutor accused Ronaldo of four counts of tax fraud from 2011-14 on Tuesday.
The complaint suggested Ronaldo had created a "business structure" in 2010 to hide earnings from image rights between 2011 and 2014.
