ISIS threatens Saudi Arabia with attacks

Iranian authorities have arrested eight suspects for allegedly supporting the ISIS-claimed attacks on Iran's parliament and the shrine of Ayatollah Ruhollah Khomeini that killed 17 people in Tehran, the state-run IRNA news agency reported tonight.

However, the family names of the terrorists were not revealed due to social and security considerations.

It also said that the Islamic republic is after hunting the commandment centers of the terrorist beyond the borders.

Iranian authorities have arrested seven people it suspects of helping militants involved in this week's attacks in the capital Tehran, a judiciary official said on Saturday. The statement concludes: "We underscore that states that sponsor terrorism risk falling victim to the evil they promote".

On Thursday, the Iranian Intelligence Ministry released the names of the five terrorists who were killed after carrying out the deadly attacks in Tehran.

"Repugnant WH [White House] statement.as Iranians counter terror backed by USA clients", Zarif tweeted.

"The Iranian people reject such US claims", Zarif said via Twitter.

Al-Jubeir said he did not know who was responsible for the attacks and said there was no evidence Saudi extremists were involved.

Parliament speaker Ali Larijani also attacked the United States and Saudi Arabia, which he called "a tribal state very far from anything like a democracy".

This Friday, the ministry noted in another separate statement that Iranian security forces, in cooperation with the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) and the police, had identified and seized several elements linked to the attacks.

On Thursday, Iran's Intelligence Minister Mahmoud Alavai said investigators were working to determine whether Saudi Arabia had a role in Wednesday'sattacks but said it was too soon to say if that was the case. More than 50 people were wounded in the morning attack on parliament, which was in session.

Both sites are revered symbols for Iran, one of its founder and the other because it represents what the country describes as its participatory government - in sharp contrast to the hereditary monarchies of its main regional rivals across the Persian Gulf. "So people in Iran, they don't consider the U.S. as their enemy".

At least 13 people were killed in twin attacks on the government building and burial site of Iran's religious leader.
