The Catalans made Champions League history by overcoming a 4-0 first leg deficit to beat Paris Saint-Germain 6-1 in the last round, but have another mountain to climb at the Camp Nou on Wednesday as they trail their quarter-final tie 3-0. Gerard Pique's even admitted that regardless of whether they play three of four at the back, they can't seem to get things right.
"Champions League games are always special against any side, let alone Juventus".
The Brazil worldwide spent eight trophy-laden years at Camp Nou, where he will return on Wednesday for the first time in a Juve shirt - his new employers sitting on a 3-0 first-leg lead.
But enough with the pessimism. "We'll be looking to create opportunities to score and we're certain we have what it takes to reach the next round".
"They've shown that they can turn around a very hard result, pulling off a miracle, but we know that and we'll be very attentive".
'We have huge respect for Barcelona and we know that we will need to play even better again to go through'. The Bianconeri enter the match with a 3-0 aggregate lead behind a pair goals Paulo Dybala and another from Giorgio Chiellini on April 11.
"We're convinced of what we have to do and how we can do it, maybe tomorrow will be another night in which we need to calm the players to control their excitement". Open football with a mass of heads and moments - that's what we expect from the second leg.
Barcelona coach urges fans to help launch another comeback against Juve
A cautious lineup may well have signified that he doesn't trust his side to play in equal terms against one of the best in Europe. The enormous growth of the player is reflected in the team, Juve have gone through the years winning, but also improving.
It lost at Malaga 2-0 before the defeat to Juventus in Turin, and had to claw its way past Real Sociedad 3-2 at the weekend. "He continued: "(The first leg) was a tough loss, but we're potent; we can sow doubt in our opponents and try to turn the tables.
"Our objective is to score five goals".
Now for the reality check. The visitors were handed a big injury boost with Dybala passed fit to play after hurting his ankle in Saturday's 2-0 win at Pescara. In the first leg, Juventus held possession only 35 per cent of the time. That's when Neymar came alive, scoring twice and assisting Sergi Roberto's stoppage time goal to sent the Nou Camp into ruptures, sealing one of the all time great European comebacks.
Does this mean that they are invincible?
Barcelona's season will largely depend on the results of their two upcoming matches.
Barca will need to produce something similar to their heroics in the previous round of the Champions League if they are to progress past Juve into the semifinals.
They have the talent, they have the advantage and they have the coach; but do they have the cojones to come and finish the job in Barcelona's own backyard?
