Chelsea and Tottenham take a break from Premier League action next time out, as they meet at Wembley in the semi-finals of the FA Cup.
By the end of the game they had the first league victory against Chelsea since the Sir Alex Ferguson era, a 3-2 win at Stamford Bridge in October 2012 of which only Ashley Young, David de Gea and Antonio Valencia were survivors.
"I think we had very good performances". In other words the coach was simply unable to transfer the right concentration, ambition and desire to grasp the desired victory. "It's important for me as a striker to be consistent, so to reach that 20-goal mark again is great".
"Against Crystal Palace we didn't deserve to lose".
"We have nothing to be afraid of", Vertonghen said.
With six games remaining, the result will give Tottenham belief it can lift the trophy at the end of May. If we win next week it might put more doubt in their minds regarding the Premier League.
"We knew that playing this way would be very hard for them".

We're focused for now but we'll obviously try to give everything. "There's a lot of pressure always but we're just looking forward to the game".
"The pressure is normal - I prefer to have the pressure rather than not fight for the title and to joke in every moment".
With Chelsea's defending unusually erratic, Cahill has come under pressure after he was seen helping Lingard off the floor whilst the ball was still in play.
Speaking to Sky Sports about Chelsea's faltering form in the climax of the 2016-17 season, Blues legend Lampard offered some insight into what needs to happen in the dressing room over the next week. "We are doing a great job, a miracle if you consider what happened last season".
"For us it is a fantastic target".
"Normally you win the title if you are 22 matches unbeaten and we are struggling to finish top four", he said, with United four points behind fourth-placed Manchester City with a game in hand.
"We want to be playing in the Premier League next season so we need to turn up and be the better team against Middlesbrough". Interestingly goalkeeper Asmir Begovic, who played because of injury to Thibaut Courtois, admitted that United showed more determination to win.
"In football I think if you don't have the intention to touch the ball and you have your arms in a natural position it is not handball".
