Called Apple iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus, the new additions to the company's iPhone lineup were unveiled at an event held in Steve Jobs Theatre in Apple's new Spaceship campus in California. The iPhone X is a more premium device that does away with the Home button and features an OLED screen, but those hoping to get their hands on it will have to wait for its release on November 3 (and be willing to pony up $1,000-or more). At the iPhone launch event, Apple is also expected to reveal a new Apple TV that supports 4K content, a new Apple Watch 3 that supports LTE connectivity and even an iPod Touch if a credit card website is to be believed. Apple claims the Aerospace-grade aluminum body is the "most durable ever in a smartphone" - it's microscopically sealed for water and dust resistance.

Today is the day we can finally put rumors about new iPhones, Apple Watches, and Apple TVs to rest, as Apple is gearing up for its annual September event.

Apple staged a big event Tuesday at which the tech giant is made several major product announcements, including the unveiling of three new iPhone models.

But if you want to watch the keynote for yourself from the Steve Jobs Theater - here's how. Apple is dropping the newest iteration of the iPhone among other devices in its Fall Product launch. It has been leaked over the weekend due to the iOS 11 firmware leak that this will be the first smartphone by Apple that would carry more than four mobile processor cores, which means the iPhone X will be more powerful than any other iPhone models. You can also get the new watch without cellular for $329 and up. It is supposed to come back online after the iPhone X event comes to a close around 12 midnight.

This Is Not a Drill: Patty Jenkins Will Direct Wonder Woman 2
Jenkins hasn't been shy about sharing her ideas for the followup to the hit, which Warner Bros. officially announced back in July. Before she was Wonder Woman , she was Diana, princess of the Amazons, trained to be an unconquerable warrior.

Some analysts expect the new phone to spark a "supercycle" of upgrades.

The iPhone went by the name of "Purple" and its development team sat in a room called the Purple Dorm.

Last but not least, it's also turned its hand to telly sets, and is bringing out a 4K high definition Apple TV. They will be sold at the same prices as high-definition video, which tends to be a few dollars more than standard-definition versions.
