The Seahawks are trading linebacker Kevin Pierre-Louis to the Kansas City Chiefs for linebacker D.J. Alexander, the Chiefs announced Friday, in what is a swap of players whose roles have been largely limited to special teams.
The Kansas City Chiefs acquired Seattle Seahawks linebacker Kevin Pierre-Louis in exchange for linebacker D.J. Alexander on July 28, 2017. He amassed 43 tackles with a pass defensed during that time. Pierre-Louis played at Boston College before being drafted. He finished the season with 12 tackles and also logged 71 defensive snaps. Alexander, known for his special teams abilities, saw action in all 16 games of each season, recording 29 tackles, zero sacks, two forced fumbles and one safety.

Other cast members include Billie Lourd , Colton Haynes , Lena Dunham, Billy Eichner , Cheyenne Jackson , Alison Pill and Adina Porter .
Alexander was a Pro Bowl selection last season as a special teams player for the Chiefs and played sparingly on defense. He started just one of the 34 games in which he appeared, playing primarily on special teams.
For his part, Alexander was a fifth-round pick of the Chiefs back in 2015. The team's rush defense struggled last season without Justin Houston, the team's best all-around outside linebacker and a strong run defender.
