Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger is preparing a third attempted bid of Monaco attacker Thomas Lemar - a bid of £45m with the possibility of rising to £50m, according to the Daily Mail.

Arsene Wenger has already been busy in the summer window after breaking their club record to sign striker Alexandre Lacazette while left-back Sead Kolasinac was snapped-up on a free transfer from Schalke.

How did Lemar perform in Monaco's title-winning Ligue 1 campaign?

Monaco reportedly value the player at €50million and are determined not to sell him for any less this summer.

Lemar scored 14 goals and provided 17 assists in 55 appearances in all competitions, with a steady spread across both domestic and European competition to prove that he can deliver on both stages.
