If Mexico reach the final Osorio will have served the ban at the tournament.
Mexico manager Juan Carlos Osorio will miss the Confederation of North, Central American and Caribbean Association Football Gold Cup after he was banned for six matches by the FIFA Disciplinary Committee. Osorio also was fined 5,000 Swiss francs ($5,185) and issued a warning.
Below is the statement from Federation Internationale de Football Association in full as Osorio will now miss the entirety of Mexico's 2017 Gold Cup campaign, and if they don't reach the final he will miss their upcoming World Cup qualifying games in September. Mexico's debut is slated for Sunday against El Salvador.
"Mr. Osorio used insulting words towards the match officials while displaying an aggressive attitude towards them", stated FIFA's announcement.

Osorio gave the A team a break after the Confederations Cup and named a B team for the Gold Cup, its status as JVs further cemented last weekend when forward Alan Pulido, the biggest name on the roster, broke his arm in a tune-up against Paraguay in Seattle.
If Mexico plays fewer than six games at the Gold Cup, Osorio's suspension will carry over to its next internationals.
Mexico will have to play up to six games to retain the Gold Cup in the United States, starting on Sunday against El Salvador in San Diego.
Mexico and El Salvador are in Group C alongside Curacao and Jamaica.
