The Philadelphia Eagles are in need of a running back after starter Jay Ajayi went down with a season-ending torn ACL.

Plans can change, so a trade for Bell shouldn't be ruled out.

The Eagles now have just over $4.3 million in cap space. Ajayi totaled 873 rushing yards last season, playing seven games for both the Eagles and Dolphins.

It's no secret the Pittsburgh Steelers are actively trying to trade running back Le'Veon Bell.

But perhaps more important is how much fun she is having with it. "(And I've rarely had a hard time with accents)". Naturally, she also comes with her distinctive sonic screwdriver, because ... well, why wouldn't she.

If the Eagles have their way, that's a possibility. The Eagles announced Monday that they placed him on injured reserve with a knee injury suffered in Sunday's loss to the Vikings, and multiple National Football League journalists reported that Ajayi had torn the anterior cruciate ligament in his left knee.

Eagles' RB Jay Ajayi tore his ACL and is out for the season, per source. Furthermore, Darren Sproles has missed the last four games with a hamstring injury and Corey Clement, who is expected to play this week, missed the last two games with a quad injury.

It's hardly out of the question that the Eagles stand pat with what they have, particularly as they would still have to clear several millions of dollars in salary-cap space to take on Bell's contract. At 2-3, there is some panic in the City of Brotherly Love that there is a Super Bowl hangover.
