UFC 229: Khabib's manager points finger at McGregor

Nurmagomedov successfully defended his lightweight title by getting McGregor to submit in the fourth round with a rear-naked choke, yet the fight was overshadowed by the mayhem that ensued.

McGregor had called Nurmagomedov, who does not drink alcohol because of his Muslim faith, "backwards" because he would not share his Proper Twelve whiskey with him, had branded his father a "quivering coward" and spoke negatively about Dagestan, Khabib's homeland.

UFC 229 was touted as the biggest fight in UFC history.

But the carnage that followed the bout - which saw Nurmagomedov charge into the crowd and attack McGregor team member Dillon Danis - has thrown the Russian fighter's future into doubt as he faces potential sanctions.

By adding the words "the war goes on", McGregor, who had a black eye in the photograph that accompanied the post, is heavily implying that this rivalry is not over. I'm a human being, but I don't understand how people can talk about jumping on the cage when he talks about my religion, he talks about my country, he talks about my father and he comes to Brooklyn and he broke the bus and nearly killed a couple of people. You can not talk about religion or nations.

A prone McGregor was then seemingly attacked by someone from Nurmagomedov's camp as the bad blood that has been building up ahead of this fight came to a head.

Unemployment lowest in United States since 1969
The number of unemployed people fell by 270,000 to six million, with the largest drop among adult women to 3.3 per cent, it said. This comes despite President Donald Trump's tariffs on goods from countries including China and those of the European Union.

During an appearance on ESPN First Take today, UFC President Dana White explained that McGregor has already called requesting a rematch.

"We have to see what happens. can these guys get visas and get back in the country?"

Although nothing is official, it was a big night for the UFC.

"What Khabib did to himself tonight, he was set up. all the mean things that were said about him. he won the fight". After the fracas, two-division UFC champion Daniel Cormier helped calm his friend and stablemate. "We'll see. I don't know".

It was, however, the events after the main event which got everyone talking.

Nurmagomedov is entitled to a portion of revenue from pay-per-view sales as well, though his share of the proceeds is unclear.
