This photo provided by the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation shows the arrest of the two Georgia fugitives Donnie Rowe, top, and Ricky Dubose, bottom, in Christ.
Miller says the escaped Georgia inmates had crashed a auto while being chased by law enforcement and fled on foot into woods along Interstate 24 near the rural community of Christiana. Dubose and Donnie Russell Rowe escaped after killing two prison guards during a bus transport in Geo. "You have to pursue each and every lead on a case such as this because you never know, that one little bit of information usually is what leads to getting these people caught", said US Marshall Stewart Cottingham.
The Georgia governor's office issued a press release after their arrest and Governor Nathan Deal expressed his gratitude towards the officials who helped capture the fugitive.
Authorities provided on Wednesday an updated mug shot of Dubose showing his facial tattoos. But he also turned his thoughts to the families of Sgt. Christopher Monica and Sgt. Curtis Billue, who were gunned down Tuesday morning.
"We will do everything in our power to support their loved ones, and we will not forget their sacrifice and service", Deal said.
"Anyone who commits an act like this against law enforcement is a much more unsafe person to the community", he said, "So you've got to pursue until you get them caught". They have been cellmates a few times in Georgia's prisons, had known each other for "quite a while" and may have planned the escape together, Department of Corrections Assistant Commissioner Ricky Myrick said.
Police responded and started chasing the pair.
Authorities then chased the fugitives until they crashed their vehicle, Emmett said.
Investigators said the men surrendered peacefully when they were taken into custody.
Deputies said the inmates fired at them from the auto.
Crude Oil Prices Fall Sharply, Very Negative Reaction To Inventories Data
This upward adjustment was mainly due to the downward revision in non-OPEC supply as world oil demand remained unchanged. Libya and Nigeria are exempt from the OPEC-led production deal to ensure oil revenue flows to national security efforts.
The publication also says he was promoted to sergeant at Baldwin State Prison in 2012 and then took a job at the prison's transportation unit last summer.
Sills described them as "dangerous beyond description".
David LeValley, FBI special agent in charge of the Atlanta office, said the manhunt had been expanded. The pair escaped, carjacked a Honda Civic, and, later, stole a Ford pickup truck.
Rowe and DuBose were then spotted in Rutherford County on I-24 at mile marker 91 which led to a shootout between them and police.
Georgia Department of Corrections spokeswoman Joan Heath declined to confirm the identity of Christopher's Monica's wife "out of respect for the family".
Funeral arrangements have been made for one of two prison guards killed when two Georgia inmates escaped from a prison transfer bus this week. Burial will follow in Heritage Memorial Park.
Rowe began serving a life sentence without parole in 2002 and Dubose began serving a 20-year sentence in 2015. The manhunt for both inmates continues into its third day Thursday. Once inside, they overpowered the officers, wrested away a gun and shot both men dead, police said.
Earlier in the week, Sheriff Sills in Georgia had told reporters that his biggest worry was that someone else would get killed.
Sills says the two inmates overpowered and killed Sgt. Monica and Sgt. Billue on a bus that should have been secured as it carried inmates between prisons.
