"Love you, girl, but I got to do it", Durant told USA TODAY Sports as he clutched the MVP trophy.

"I couldn't sleep for two days", Durant, who was named the Finals MVP, said during an on-court interview.

Several members of the reigning National Football League champion New England Patriots opted to skip the team's post-Super Bowl White House visit last April for various reasons. "And I know he wants to be here and we want him here. And at the end of the day, no matter what anybody says from now on, they can never take away from you being a champion".
