Tottenham's Kyle Walker Gives 'No Clues' Where He Will Be Next Season

Kieran Trippier has said how Tottenham manager Mauricio Pochettino pranked him when he learned of his call-up to England duty. Pep Guardiola wants a new right back after allowing Pablo Zabaleta and Bacary Sagna to leave.

When asked about his future at the club, he said: "No, no indication at all".

"I know we both play the same position but it is football and whoever plays, we are always there for each other", Trippier told reporters.

"So we need to be careful in giving away free-kicks, but the main thing is definitely not to concede first. I thought I was in trouble even though I didn't do anything", said Trippier.

"I don't ever say a bad word or wish bad on him because it's more about the team rather than individual performances".

Trippier will now be hoping to feature for the Three Lions as he seeks his first cap, whilst speculation over Walker's future means that Tripper may even eye up a role as Tottenham's first-choice right back next term.

"We're confident though, having past experiences against Italy helps and we've played them a few times so we know their style and what they're all about. We get along well, we're two northern boys down south so we bounce off each other like that and we get along really well". I've played in two before and the atmosphere at Wembley was terrific.

"I was delighted for my mum and phoned my parents straight away as they have done a lot of hard work to get me where I am".

Jamie Vardy has withdrawn from the England squad to face Scotland and France through injury.

I think at this point the only question remaining is where Walker will be sold, and how much Daniel Levy will extract from the buying club.

The friendship between the two is so strong that Trippier and Walker camped together during a Marine camp the worldwide team attended in the week before their World Cup qualifier against Scotland on Saturday.
