Scott Pruitt, head of the Environmental Protection Agency, on Sunday defended the USA exit from the Paris climate accord, saying it will benefit the country and create more jobs.

John Oliver is not taking climate change lightly, and he's not letting President Donald Trump get away with withdrawing the US from the Paris Agreement. "The president has indicated the climate is changing, it's always changing".

White House spokesman Sean Spicer said earlier in the week he did not know the president's views.

U.S. President Donald Trump says a lot of false things, big and small - 19 total in his speech announcing his decision to pull the U.S. out of the landmark Paris climate accord.

"The Paris Accord is a bad deal for Americans, and @POTUS' action today is keeping his promise to put American workers first", read the post that accompanies the video. The United States is the second-largest emitter of greenhouse gases and this is the reason for which the president's choice is quite a blow to the global effort to fight climate change.

"President Trump believes the climate is changing, and he believes pollutants are part of the equation", Haley said Saturday.

Nigeria to Maintain Crude Output As Opec Extends Crude Cut
The day's volumes of 1.1 million contracts of WTI were the highest since the November 30 session, when OPEC first announced cuts. Following the meeting, Saudi Arabian Energy Minister Khalid al-Falih lauded OPEC's consensus over the output cut.

"No", Pruitt responded. "I think what's also being missed here is when you look at how we generate power in this country, we need fuel diversity".

Part of United States president Donald Trump's justification for pulling the country out of the global Paris climate agreement yesterdaywas that the deal wouldn't reduce temperatures enough to make an impact.

After Trump withdrew from the Paris Agreement, his Counselor Kellyanne Conway said on Good Morning America that he "made very clear yesterday what he doesn't believe". "This is not the reality", she told reporters. "I am sure the United States will l rethink its decision", he said.

Iran faces particular challenges from climate change, having suffered years of worsening drought and dust storms, compounded by poor water resource management.

In media appearances, several of the president's surrogates have also evaded the question, following Trump's decision to exit the global accord aimed at mitigating the effects of climate change.
