The Echo Show will be shipping only in the U.S. from June 28.

The new Echo Show will cost you around $229 and will be available in black and white colour variants. The difference is that the Echo Show features a screen, which allows users to make and receive video calls.

Amazon has dominated the voice-controlled speaker market. With Alexa calling and messaging, you'll soon be able to send voice messages or place calls to anyone with the Alexa app installed on Android or iOS phones, along with those who have supported Echo devices. Rumored features were also reported before the gadget was announced. If you're using Alexa to control your home security camera, it might be nice to see the feed from said camera without picking up another device. That's right, for those of you who simply can't bear to search lyrics on Google anymore, Echo Show has you covered. The Echo Tap is not getting calling features, however. Now, the company is making it better with a voice assistant that isn't just a speaker but has a touchscreen and a better integration and more features - Amazon Echo Show. Once they have granted access, you can drop-in on your contact and launch a video call.

The Echo Show can also show you videos, including clips from YouTube, CNN, and movie trailers.

Alphabet exceeds expectations as the 'dominant force in digital advertising'
Revenue, however, continued to climb up to $244 million this quarter compared to $165 million in the same quarter a year earlier. Google has boosted its revenues under the leadership of Pichai from its core advertising business and also from You Tube.

A few weeks ago, Google Home got the ability to recognize individuals within a family by voice, allowing for more precise recommendations and ad targeting.

The Echo Show further comes with Dolby-powered speakers for "for crisp vocals and extended bass response" along with eight microphones so it can "hear you from any direction - even while music is playing".

Just last month, Amazon announced another entry in its line of Echo products, a hands-free style assistant called Echo Look.
