Female Kashmiri students lead anti-India protests

Clashes between protesting students and government forces erupted in Shopian town of south Kashmir on Wednesday. However, large contingents of Indian police already placed at the main entrance of the school fired teargas shells to disperse the protesting students, triggering clashes.

The students of Government Degree College Bijbehara and Pulwama also held protests in the campuses against the highhandedness of Indian forces.

The spiraling student protests have shaken the state administration as the number of students hitting the streets is increasing with every passing day.

Students boycotted classes in Pulwama, Bandipora, Shopian, Kulgam, Ganderbal and Chadoora towns and took to the streets, engaging security forces in fierce stone pelting clashes.
