Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver Martavis Bryant has been cleared by the National Football League to begin practicing with the team and will be eligible to participate in all preseason games, including Friday's opener against the New York Giants. The talented wideout is thus inching toward full reinstatement, but he's not quite there yet.
To make matters even worse, an exact timeframe of when Bryant could be allowed back on the field seems completely up in the air as well.
Steelers head coach Mike Tomlin said Wednesday that he has "no idea" when Bryant will be cleared.
At some point, one of these reports is bound to be right, right?.

Five days later, official word finally came. Bryant was conditionally reinstated by the league in April, and he took part in organized team activities and minicamp.
On Sunday, Gerry Dulac of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette reported that the Steelers were thinking Bryant would be cleared to return this week, per a team source. During his first two seasons with the Steelers, he was an electrifying playmaker who stretched the field in a big way.
Bryant caught just 61 passes in his career at Clemson, but he averaged 22.2 yards per catch.
