The perfectly good explanation why Daniel Cormier was allowed to weigh-in twice

Last weekend, in the main event of UFC 210, UFC light heavyweight champion Daniel Cormier defended his title with a second-round submission of the risky Anthony "Rumble" Johnson. After that, it was just a matter of time before Cormier did the same thing he did to Johnson nearly two years ago.

"Is that guy even eligible to fight yet", Cormier questioned. Cormier likes to drag the bout out and Johnson goes for the knock out. Johnson threw a knee, which Cormier caught and used to push him against the fence. After securing a takedown, Cormier took Johnson's back and delivered punches and hammer fists.

MMA media and fans noticed that Cormier's hands were on top of the towel during his second weigh-in attempt (the first one being about two minutes before), which could offset the 1.2 pounds he was over. From there the choke was locked in and "Rumble" was forced to tap once again in a near mirror image of their first fight. My life has been unbelievable and I haven't come close to scratching the surface.

"At this point anymore it doesn't (matter)", Cormier said.

He offered little in the way of reaction as Johnson opted to wrestle Cormier and despite landing a flurry of combinations in the opening stages of the fight, "Rumble" was submitted in the second round. I knew it was just the beginning of a series of fights with him and I would have.

"I went all out and don't regret anything", he wrote on Facebook.

Mike Pence warns North Korea 'era of strategic patience is over'
Mr Trump himself asserted on Sunday that China was working with the United States on "the North Korea problem". He says any use of nuclear weapons by North Korea will be met with "an overwhelming and effective response".

Jones watched cageside with his arms outstretched as Cormier dismissed his presence, yelling, "Who?"

"I feel if people don't want to believe that I've matured a lot, then they don't have to, and it's up to me to earn that trust", Jones said.

"Stop pretending you want to fight me", he said after his victory. Thank you all for the love and support throughout the years. "As a fighter I respect him, but we don't see eye to eye".

"If I was holding the towel, I was just trying to hide myself". "But yeah, I have no intentions of going in there and harassing the guy". I think he's a good fighter.

When asked if a lawsuit against the New York State Athletic Commission, which oversaw the event, is under consideration, Abdelaziz responded, "Whatever it takes". "If I hadn't taken the sex pill, right now I'd be looked at as the person who would be the champion again".
