A multi-state manhunt is underway for 37-year-old Steve Stephens who is accused of killing a man in Cleveland and broadcasting it live on Facebook.

Police said Godwin is the only victim so far linked to Stephens, despite the suspect's claim in a separate Facebook video that he killed over a dozen people.

Police in the American city of Cleveland are now conducting a massive man-hunt for a man who allegedly recorded and posted the murder of a man on Facebook Live.

Police and the Federal Bureau of Investigation in Cleveland said Monday that the suspect, 37-year-old Steve Stephens, could still be in the city or in surrounding states. Police said he weighs 244 pounds, has a full beard and was considered armed and risky. He is bald with a full beard. It was recorded and then uploaded to Facebook by Stephens, according to a Facebook spokesperson. Williams said police have not verified any other shootings or deaths. Police in the city told The Post they were not investigating the case. Facebook has said that while Live can can provide "a window into the best moments in people's lives, it can also let us bear witness to the worst". Police said Stephens is armed and risky and should not be approached.

Godwin, a retired foundry worker (conflicted reports stated that he was 78), is survived by nine children, 14 grandchildren, and several great grandchildren, reports Cleveland.com. Mr Stephens' Facebook page has also been removed.

"This is a horrific crime and we do not allow this kind of content on Facebook".

Williams said Stephens may be driving a newer model white Ford Fusion. Steve really is a nice guy ... he is generous with everyone he knows.

Easter Sunday: Christians across the globe celebrate
Good Friday is marked as a day of mourning while Easter Sunday celebrates the belief that Jesus rose from his grave. Though the tradition is of decorating chicken eggs, but today they are replaced with chocolate and jellybeans.

In the same video, broadcast from his auto, Mr Stephens films himself on a phone telling an unidentified person that he has "built-in anger and frustration".

Stephens is wanted for aggravated murder in the death of 74-year-old Robert Godwin, Sr.

In Pennsylvania, a statewide "be on the lookout" for Stephens has been disseminated, said Adam Reed, state police spokesman.

On Sunday, Green learned about the shooting when her youngest son told her about the video.

The authorities said the suspect is believed armed and risky and may have turned off his mobile phone to make him harder to track.

Stephens is employed at Beech Brook, a behavioral health agency in northeast OH that serves children, teenagers and families, according to a spokeswoman for the facility. "This man, right here, was a good man and I hate that he's gone". "Feels like my heart is gonna stop".

"We are shocked and horrified like everyone else", said Nancy Kortemeyer, a spokeswoman for Beech Brook. They spoke the next day, she said, and he told her he was shooting people because he was angry with his girlfriend.
