Ole Gunner Solskjaer has admitted that confidence is running sky high in his Manchester United players as they continued their unbeaten run on the domestic front with a 3-2 win over Southampton at Old Trafford.
Manchester United, the record champion of Premier League, have been a talking point for quite some time now, be it for their former manager Jose Mourinho, or their current interim gaffer, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.
"We know it is an uphill task, but we can do it". I'm so pleased for the boys - they managed to claw three points out of this game.
"The Champions League has given quite a few of those comebacks, PSG against Barcelona for example".
"It's my best day", Pereira said.
"It's incredible. You feel a lot of emotions and I'm very happy and hopefully there will be many more to come".
"There is an option to extend it by one year but I think PSG are looking at a more long-term solution to that and De Gea is effectively on the market - and his agents have made that clear to Manchester United, that they have a suitor club who will pay the money that has been asked for for him to stay at Manchester United".
Trump invokes ‘socialist nightmare’ ahead of 2020
Al Jazeera's Andy Gallacher, reporting from Oxon Hill, Maryland said the conference "is really about Donald Trump energising his base".
As quoted by Manchester United's official website, Solskjaer admitted: "I have got to enjoy every single second when I am in this position and I am".
"I've missed penalties. He's a confident boy, he wants to go and take the next one, you want that character and today was one of the ones he really blasted them, he normally just places them, so he'll be okay", he added. We have done it so many times.
The match wasn't finished there as James Ward-Prowse equalised for the Saints through a free-kick. Just one minute after replacing the injured Alexis Sanchez, Diogo Dalot gave the ball to Pereira, and the Brazil worldwide curled a stunning effort into the back of the net to equalise on 53 minutes. His first goal was a neat finish into the bottom right corner from inside the box with his weak foot to give United a 2-1 lead.
Pereira showed his strength to hold off challengers in midfield before slipping through an excellently-timed pass for Lukaku who finished clinically from 15 yards.
It was an impressive turnaround from Solskjaer´s team who had been stunned by an incredible 26th-minute strike by Southampton wing-back Yan Valery, the young Frenchman´s first goal in professional football and one he will long remember.
Already without Jesse Lingard and Anthony Martial because of injury, United lost Alexis Sanchez to a right knee injury in the second half.
