"Because now you're getting all of my attention". When Supergirl's first season aired on CBS, the network hemmed and hawed until the eleventh hour about whether or not the show would see a renewal. From the harmonies to Mehcad Brooks's beatboxing to Jeremy Jordan's confident vocal lead, and Chris Wood's solo debut, the cast of Supergirl is truly superhuman - even when they're breaking shippers' hearts.
Series co-creator Ali Adler will be leaving as showrunner, with Jessica Queller and Robert Rovner stepping up to take her place, alongside series co-creator Andrew Kreisberg. The panel will opened with a season 3 trailer that showed off a very different Kara Danvers, especially since Supergirl plans to mostly ignore that identity.
The theme of season three of Supergirl will be humanity.
Queller teased Adrian Pasdar's introduction on the show.
They reiterated the news that Cat Grant will be in the season premiere and that Calista Flockhart. "She has a very specific agenda". Overall she's just really happy to be here.
The panel confirmed that James Olsen will have a bigger part of team supergirl and will get a new love interest. Back when Flockhart was a regular, the show filmed in Los Angeles, and that's a far more convenient destination for her than traveling up to Vancouver.
Metal Detectors Lead To Violence Between Israelis And Palestinians

As for Mon-El, he will return at some point in season 3 though no one was willing to disclose when they might happen.
McGrath spoke about her love of the friendship between Lena and Supergirl, but that Lena might be disappointed in learning that Kara is Supergirl. There's no word how long these emotions will last, but it's doubtful that it will stick around much more after Mon El's return. In the clip, the relationship of Maggie Sawyer (played by Floriana Lima) and Alex Danvers (played by Chyler Leigh) has been sealed with a smooch.
Now, however, the Girl of Steel will have a new rogue to face. "If ain't broke, don't fix it", Benoist said of her suit.
We'll update this with more information when we have it. On the flip side of that, there are now no plans to bring Superman back, but they love Tyler Hoechlin and if schedules and story align, he will return at some point.
