Square Enix hosted their latest Active Time Report broadcast for Final Fantasy XV where the developers revealed they have plans to make a big announcement at Gamescom 2017.

Final Fantasy XIV has been doing the rounds on PlayStation 4 and PC for years, but now the game's director Naoki Yoshida has expressed interest in bringing the MMORPG to Xbox One and Nintendo Switch, with meetings already being held with Xbox boss Phil Spencer regarding the possibility.

Big things apparently planned for summer.

Gamescom is one of the biggest trade fairs for video games in the world and the largest one in Europe. Episode Prompto will release on June 27th for both platforms.

YouTube channel NoClip has published the first part of its documentary on the development, fall, resurrection, and success of Final Fantasy XIV. There was also some upcoming announcement with the game preview.

To deal with the funding reductions, states would have to make hard decisions affecting children's coverage and scope of benefits. Majority Leader Mitch McConnell had the bill drafted in strict secrecy and hopes to ram it through as early as next week.

Square Enix will still be releasing Episode Ignis down the line which will focus on the team's resident chef.

Final Fantasy XV has proven to be one of the best titles in the iconic Final Fantasy series, and Square Enix has provided the RPG with longevity through the various DLCs for the game.

That's not all, as Tabata-san also revealed that Monster of the Deep: Final Fantasy XV isn't the only virtual reality experience the team is now working on.

The results of the survey will likely be unveiled at Gamescom.
