Reports linking Champions League victor Cristiano Ronaldo with a possible move to Bayern Munich if the Portuguese made a decision to leave Real Madrid were a hoax, the German champions said on Monday.
Recent rumours suggest that Ronaldo wants to leave Los Blancos as he apparently believes the club failed to adequately support him after it was revealed that he has been accused of tax fraud. "It is sent and printed, tweaked and posted".
Ronaldo is said to want to quit Real and leave Spain over what he feels is unfair treatment by Spanish tax authorities. With digital technology the news is spread at a rapid pace.
Portuguese newspapers have listed Manchester United, Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) and Monaco among the potential suitors for the Portugal captain and that they might table an offer of 180 million euros ($201 million).

A day earlier, the Senate voted to adopt an amendment to the bill that would expand sanctions against Russia, CBS News reported . This will include both maintaining existing sanctions and imposing additional ones in response to Russia's illegal activities.
