The UAE, Saudi Arabia and Bahrain, along with Egypt, severed diplomatic ties with Qatar on Monday.
Turkey has maintained good relations with Qatar as well as several of its Gulf Arab neighbors. He said "it's important for France to remain in partnership with all these countries", especially with diplomatic, financial and economic interests at stake. Next day, former US Secretary of Defense Robert Gates launched a scathing assault on Qatar, criticized its support for "Islamists", at an event hosted by the hawkish Foundation for Defense of Democracies (FDD).
New President Emmanuel Macron, who said during his election campaign he would be attentive to accusations that both Saudi Arabia and Qatar financed Islamist militants, spoke to Qatari and Emirati leaders on Wednesday. Kuwait has been mediating among the countries and Turkey has offered to as well.
Responding to the report, the Ministry said: "International terrorism, violent extremism and religious intolerance pose grave threat not only to regional stability but also to the global peace and order and must be confronted by all countries in a coordinated and comprehensive manner".
Saudi Arabia and others cut ties with Qatar this week, accusing it of supporting extremists. Qatar has denied the allegations.
U.S. President Trump has offered to help #Qatar to resolve the issues of #Diplomatic crisis among the Gulf allies. "Efforts to isolate Qatar. will not solve any problem", said Erdogan, praising Doha's "cool-headedness" and "constructive approach".
Earlier, a Saudi press agency statement said the move was necessary because of "grave violations being committed by the authorities in Doha over the past years in secret and public", including giving shelter to various terrorist groups, some of them backed by Iran. Other U.S. officials have said Qatar has already taken some steps to reduce terror funding but that the steps are insufficient.

Sultan Sooud Al Qassemi says Qatar's citizens are "questioning if this is going to end up in seeing a change in leadership itself".
"This list is connected to the members and entities that serve suspicious agendas of Qatar and in an indication of the duality of Qatar policies that announced fighting terrorism from one side, and funds and shelters different terrorist organizations from another side", the four Arab powers said.
The escalation came two weeks after the website of Qatar's official news agency was allegedly hacked by unknown individuals who reportedly published statements attributed to the country's emir, Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al-Thani.
