Miley Cyrus has turned over a new leaf after starting to work on new music, and the former wild child has famously given up smoking weed.

She also shared a reoccurring nightmare she had where she died from smoking too much weed whilst hosting SNL.

Cyrus wore her hair in two updo pigtails accompanied by an all white trousers and blazer set for "Malibu".

The reason behind this major change?

The We Can't Stop singer also spoke candidly about her past habits and told that she was stoned the last time she made an appearance on the NBC talk show. 'So I wanted to make sure that I was super-clear in the way I'm talking'. With their cover officially blown, Cyrus excitedly yelled to the crowd, "This is my first time [playing] at the subway station".

Not only did they sing "Jolene", but then Miley pulled out her classic, "Party in the United States of America", and a huge crowd formed in the Rockefeller Center station. "I Googled and that's never happened ... no one's ever died from weed, but no one's ever smoked as much as I did". She threw her sister, Noah Cyrus, and boyfriend, Liam Hemsworth, marijuana-themed birthday parties. As Hashtag the Panda, she surprised everyone in the studio, and a bunch of people on a subway platform got a surprise as well when she and Jimmy disguised themselves as street performers. You were fairly clear with Rolling Stone when you said, and I quote, "One time I smoked a joint with peyote in it, and I saw a wolf howling at the moon".

"I just want to sit at home and eat when I'm stoned and play with my dogs and the cat and the pig", the Nashville native said.

Miley discussed her past habits saying she suffered with nightmares that she'd overdose and die. In early May of 2017, however, the singer revealed that she'd left drugs and alcohol behind to live a healthier lifestyle.

It's always good for me to remember people really love those classic songs and it inspires me to do them more.

Fans will have to watch out for Cyrus' new album, which contains songs about love and even politics.
