We were from the same community, and many in the tower were. Police said the death toll was bound to rise.
Ibrham - along with her two daughters - remain missing.
"So this is the big question with this one - why it spread as quickly as it did", he said.
The Housing Executive has said it would be wrong to speculate on the cause of the tragic inferno that has claimed so many lives - but it will take on board anything that can be learned.
She said - as many new MPs do - that even though she'd visited Parliament many times, she couldn't believe how noisy and raucous it was inside the chamber.
In the hours following the deadly fire, other stars offered help as well.
Here are some of the key issues that have emerged.
The tower, built in 1974 on the low-rent housing estate in North Kensington, sits in a part of west London surrounded by some of the most affluent areas of the capital.
A blog post from Grenfell Action Group in November said "only a catastrophic event" would expose the concerns residents had.
The group had earlier warned that closing the block's auto park would leave a single, restricted road for emergency responders - which proved the case Wednesday - and had complained about faulty wiring causing electrical surges in the block.
There are also questions about safety advice given to residents.
National Doughnut Day 2017: Where to snag free treats around San Antonio
All 80 Cub Foods locations are handing out doughnuts to local police officers and firefighters to say thank you for their service. If you have a favorite donut shop nearby you may want to give them a call and see if they have any National Donut Day freebies.
"They were the first people with bags of water giving to people and helping, running and telling people".
A number of politicians had raised concerns with the Housing Executive after received calls from anxious residents in areas like the New Lodge in Belfast.
Police revealed today that they have received around 400 calls reporting people missing following the Grenfell Tower fire.
The inspections could involve hundreds of buildings, as London Mayor Sadiq Khan announced that checks would made be on tower blocks undergoing refurbishment.
London Fire Brigade said it had rescued 65 people as flames engulfed the block, and had managed to reach all 24 floors, though a full search of the building has not been completed.
Opposition politicians accused the government Thursday of failing to act on key recommendations from reports into those fires.
The department of communities and local government said that it had not ignored the recommendations, but that the work was ongoing. Survivors said there were no sprinklers in the building.
Her grandsons, Prince William and Prince Harry, along with William's wife Kate, donated to a relief fund organised by London's local Evening Standard newspaper. 18 of them are in critical condition, but many more are still missing. "Those 70s buildings - many of them should be demolished. Not least because they knew there were people still in there and they were battling through the heat and couldn't get there".
"We have also arranged meetings with the manufacturers of the cladding used on the tower blocks to receive extra reassurance". It wasn't - it spread and it spread upwards and it spread outside as well through the cladding.
The low-priced cladding has been linked to fires elsewhere in the world, including France, Australia, South Korea and the United Arab Emirates.
