40-pound catfish to be released following Penguins parade

Another day, another penguins parade in Pittsburgh.

Planners say as many as 500,000 people could turn out Wednesday, surpassing the 400,000 who attended last year's celebration, which was the biggest for any of the team's five Stanley Cup championships.

One by one, the flightless birds strutted their stuff as they waddled down a hallway lined with cheering spectators. "The one didn't want to go the whole way back; they had to pick him up".

"It would be tough to fit hundreds of thousands of people here in the National Aviary. I wonder if we could repeat, or three-peat should I say", he said. We'll be taking a look at this by using numberFire's nERD metric, along with some other stats to show just how dominant they were this season. "All the games are just so interesting to watch and it's so fascinating to see how hard every team is trying to advance to the next round".

Stonewalling Sessions Runs Away From Tough Questions in Senate Inquiry
Sessions added that since his recusal, "I have no knowledge about this investigation" beyond media reports. And that boss, Jeff Sessions, also promised Tuesday not to get involved in any firing.

The 27-year-old Swede was injured during the playoffs, though he still piled up 18 points in 19 games and played 28 minutes per game. The two-time reigning Conn Smythe Trophy victor occasionally jumped out of his vehicle to give fans a close look at the Stanley Cup and allow them to take pictures.

The question now is whether it is a flash-in-the-pan performance or the start of something special.

The cap has proven to be more of a speed bump than a road block for the Penguins. Matt Cullen, Nick Bonino, Chris Kunitz, Trevor Daley and Ron Hainsey will be unrestricted free agents. Even if the Penguins traded him to a team in need of a proven goalie, like Calgary, they would have to make another goaltender available in the expansion draft. The Islanders, from 1980-84, were the last team to win three or more Cups in a row. But while Fleury stepped in while Matt Murray was recovering from an injury, it was once again Murray who pushed a team that was routinely outshot and out-chanced over the hump. "I think, first of all, most coaches don't have that type of decision because they don't have two No. 1 Stanley Cup-winning goaltenders at their disposal like we do".

In fact, through all of that there was only one opportunity for a championship to be won inside the city, when the Penguins took a 3-1 series lead into Game 5 at home in 2016.
