Police searching for men after woman abducted, taken across state line

Police said they are investigating a report that two men kidnapped a woman early Thursday and took her to MA.

Under pursuit by CT state police, the suspect allegedly kicked two people out of the vehicle while traveling over the Memorial Bridge around 3 a.m. and then sped off, tossing a handgun out the window as well.

Police also surrounded a silver Subaru on East Columbus Avenue.

State police said they chased the vehicle into Springfield, Mass. where the suspects got out of the auto and took off.

This is a developing story. It was reported that an adult female had been taken from a home against her will by two men who police believe she knew.

The victim however was located.

The victim sustained a minor injury, according to Windsor police. The incident remains under investigation.
