No team in NBA play-off history has ever rallied from a 3-0 deficit to win a series, although the Cavaliers did become the first team in NBA Finals history to rally from a 3-1 hole to swipe the crown from Golden State a year ago.
CLEVELAND (AP) - Kevin Durant released his deep shot, the one he always makes in his dreams. "This has been the best team in our league the last three years".
The three-point dagger over James was exactly the type of play the Warriors must have had in mind when they signed Durant last July in hopes of avenging their 2016 NBA Finals loss to the Cavaliers.
"He doesn't have a ring yet", Warriors coach Steve Kerr said before the game. "Obviously you never know what's going to happen, but as it stands right now, they look pretty good, as far as the future".
