The charges against Brown, who had represented the Jacksonville area district of Florida for over ten years, included lying on her taxes and congressional financial disclosure forms.
Brown's Defense Attorney James Smith III wanted the jury to have access to the full transcript.
Brown, known as a talkative politician who does not shy away from the media, stayed silent as she left the courthouse on Thursday. Brown's sentencing, which could include years of jail time.
"She shamefully deprived needy children of hundreds of thousands of dollars that could have helped with their education and improved their opportunities for advancement, and she lied to the IRS and the American public about secret cash deposits into her personal bank accounts", Blanco continued.
The jury convicted Brown of 18 of the 22 separate criminal counts a grand jury indicted her for in July.
A date for Brown's sentencing has not yet been set. She had pleaded not guilty to all of the charges, but lost re-election last fall after her indictment.
Two of the mail fraud charges and two of the wire fraud charges Brown is facing deal directly with Brown Johnson and Bright House.

Prosecutors argued at trial that Brown used money from the fund for lavish vacations, parties and shopping sprees.
In a statement released after the verdict was announced, Acting U.S. Attorney W. Stephen Muldrow said "Former Congresswoman Brown chose greed and personal gain over the sacred trust given to her by the community that she served for many years". Characterized as a defender for those in her district, she had a reputation for doing what she said she would.
Smith told the jury that Simmons repeatedly used women for his benefit: getting his sister on Brown's payroll so he could steal her paycheck, using his girlfriend's charity to enrich himself and using Brown for money and power.
Of the more than $800,000 she and Elias "Ronnie" Simmons raised for One Door for Education, member station WJCT reports that just $1,200 actually went where they told donors it would: students' education.
