Former minister in Arvind Kejriwal's government, Kapil Mishra, who has been suspended from the party for making corruption allegations against Kejriwal, has begun his pre-announced hunger strike at his residence in Delhi's Civil Lines.

The activist had earlier said he was pained to see Kejriwal, his "former colleague in the anti-corruption crusade", facing allegations of accepting money.

In the complaint, Mishra said that while he was sitting on a fast, the man approached him and asked him why he was doing that.

Sakced AAP minister, Kapil Mishra, was on Monday reportedly attacked during a press conference, reports ABP News. Bhardwaj, who told the assembly that he had a BTech degree in computer science and that he had worked on microprocessors and micro-controllers, said, "An ordinary engineering graduate like me can manipulate an EVM by working on it for just 10 to 15 days". AAP alleged a big conspiracy is being hatched against the party by the BJP through Mishra.

A case has been registered for voluntarily causing hurt and criminal intimidation and police are trying to find out more details about Bhardwaj. He is likely to be arrested. Techie-turned politician Saurabh Bhardwaj held a 30-minute session in the assembly to back his party's claim. "I am on hunger strike from tomorrow.", he had tweeted yesterday. "I want to say that I will not be frightened and will continue on my quest".

Mishra, who has levelled allegations of graft against Kejriwal and minister Satyendar Jain, also claimed that he had received 211 "corruption-related" complaints against the party and the government since last evening. "I will quit taking even water if any of my supporters tries to retaliate to the attack", he said.

He also said that he received an worldwide phone call on Tuesday night threatening to "shoot me".

AAP leader Sanjay Singh said the party has always been against any sort of violence in politics, adding that instead it has always been a victim of it. The BJP was quick to deny this. According to Mishra, the youth approached him at the strike venue around 5.30 pm and grabbed him by his neck. "There should a proper investigation into it". "I was at home (in Trinagar) when I got a call from party members saying that AAP was claiming that I have attacked Mishra".
