Ben Gibson says that the confirmation of Middlesbrough's relegation from the Premier League is the "lowest point" of his life.

With Chelsea now just one win away from securing the Premier League, one might have thought that the focus at Stamford Bridge would be entirely on self-congratulation for a job well done over a long season.

Antonio Conte's side have been battling Tottenham for Premier League glory, but defeat to West Ham last Friday has opened up a chance for Chelsea to claim the trophy with games to spare.

Marcos Alonso doubled Chelsea's advantage before the interval when his shot went in off the legs of Boro keeper Brad Guzan and Nemanja Matic scored the third on 66 minutes, with Fabregas once again the creator. Antonio Conte's men can win the title before Spurs next play with victory at The Hawthorns on Friday night.

Sanchez broke the deadlock in the 60th minute at St Mary's, gathering Mesut Ozil's pass and leaving two defenders sprawling before firing home his 20th goal of the league campaign.

Conte praised Fabregas for forcing his way back into the starting XI, which he said epitomised the effort that his squad have put in this season.

"We are blessed in the Premier League with some quite outstanding coaches but there can be only one Manager of the Year". He would want to be challenging for major honours but it's hard to see which clubs of that calibre would want to sign a player who has just turned 30.

Last season was very bad.

New South Korea president vows to address North Korea, broader tensions 'urgently'
Moons victory will nearly certainly slam the door shut on any military option against North Korea for the Trump administration. They are lukewarm about the deployment of the US ABM system in South Korea and they would foster friendly ties with China.

"Because in this season, Cesc at the start didn't play a lot".

"The target is very close and we must have enthusiasm, will, desire to take this target".

"This step was big, a big step for us".

"It's not easy what happened to me".

But Chelsea are expected to field a full-strength team, with N'Golo Kante in line to return after sitting out Monday's win over Middlesbrough.

He said: "There are three points riding on it for them and us". "Of course we are happy we are so close but we have to stay concentrated to the end".

"On Friday we have a good chance to finish this league, to become champions". We have two games to go. "Every game is a different story but at the end of it I hope we will win the title".

Dutch midfielder Marten De Roon continued the good impression he made at Serie A club Atalanta with a consistent first season, while the performances of speedy winger Adama Traore, once of Barcelona and who joined from Aston Villa, reportedly had clubs such as Chelsea making inquiries.
