After stabbing Brown, White then stabbed another man in the head who was sitting at a picnic table. Nobody knows if we're safe yet. When an officer ordered White to drop to the ground he followed directions and was taken into custody. "He was armed with a large, Bowie-style hunting knife".
Witnesses told UT police that he appeared "normal".
He walked southbound on the west side of Gregory Gym, where he encountered a female student.

Before the attacks, White was seen in the student activity center "appearing normal", Carter said. He has been identified as 21-year-old Kendrex J. White, reports KCEN.
Police charged him with murder and he is being held on a $1 million bond.
Austin's interim police chief, whose force worked closely with the campus police, concurred. Austin-based KXAN-TV reported the previous arrest, and said the pills were prescribed Zoloft.
What was the suspect's motive?
Authorities do not have information to support that theory.
None of the victims were wearing anything that would indicate they were members of a fraternity. Police do not believe this was a targeted attack or that it was a conspiracy.
"He was obviously suffering from some type of particular issue".

Investment as a whole has been somewhat disappointing in this recovery, but the weakness has often been exaggerated. While some of the slowdown may be temporary, inflation is eating into consumers' wallets.
Fenves said in another statement released Tuesday morrning that two victims have been discharged from the hospital.
Two of the people wounded in Monday's attack were treated and released from hospitals and a third remained hospitalized, university President Greg Fenves said. All of the victims seemed to be students.
Brown had graduated from high school in the Graham school district, northwest of Fort Worth, before enrolling at the university.
"He was a really smart guy in high school. The only thing I request is we send more thoughts and prayers to Harrison's family and everyone else who was a part of this", said Bayliss, whose family stood close by.
People are leaving their condolences on Brown's Facebook page. Brown was a talented musician who had not yet decided on a major, Fenves said.
He said there is justified fear on campus, noting that the fatal attack came one year after another student's murder. Go here for details. In February, students found an array of anti-immigrant and anti-Muslim fliers stuck on telephone poles and buildings around campus.
Police said they are not aware that White has connections to any terror group. The charge is expected to be officially filed by Tuesday evening, Austin Police Chief Brian Manley said.
"He was involved all the time and he was at every meeting", Crawford said.
Per @UTAustinPolice, rumors of incident (s) near 24th/26th in West Campus were not credible.
"I don't want people to walk by this today and be scared or feel a sense of horror", Moore said.
