Kevin Durant reminded the National Basketball Association why the Warriors signed him last summer

Durant went down with injury and Steph Curry, once again, came to the rescue for the Warriors. "When we sprint somebody into a ball screen, that creates a little bit of separation". Most of his points came in defensive sets in which the Jazz defended well, but not well enough for the former MVP.

The best part of the pair's reaction is easily Curry's face popping up like a teacher had called him out for sleeping in class.

The Golden State Warriors headed into Game 3 with a 2-0 lead on the Utah Jazz.

Golden State's defense was smothering.

"The other thing is rebounding". Stephen Curry had 22 points to lead a balanced attack.

Curry played better in the second half to help Durant carry Golden State's offense, but finishing with 23 points on just 6-20 shooting.

He stayed patient and trusted in the work he put in going into the game and it paid off.

But hey, you know what word rhymes with "scuffle?"

But Trump also said that he would terminate NAFTA "if we're unable to make a deal, but hopefully we won't have to do that". This week the U.S. administration announced it would slap hefty tariffs on softwood lumber being imported from Canada.

"(Rudy) Gobert is a load down there in the paint, so I know I just can't go in there and throw up anything.

But after Utah took a 62-53 lead on Gobert's dunk on a lob from Diaw, the Warriors started their comeback, outscoring the Jazz 19-8 over the final 6 1/2 minutes of the third period to forge in front 72-70 entering the final frame. Draymond Green - just an overhyped loudmouth - was once again everywhere important in the fourth quarter, contesting shots, deflecting passes, ripping down rebounds and finding high-percentage looks.

Trailing 79-78 midway through the fourth, Golden State seized the lead for good on back-to-back layups from Draymond Green and Durant. The over/under total for Game 3 is listed at 207.5 points.

An additional glance at those graphics above reveals that on average, the Jazz have been using 2.2 more seconds per offensive possession compared to the Warriors so far in the series. Going back to last season's rally in the National Basketball Association finals the Cavs have won 10 consecutive playoff games, three shy of the NBA's record set by the Los Angeles Lakers over the 1988 and 1989 postseasons.

"We can't dwell on it", Johnson said. "They beat us and I don't think there's any shame in that right now for our group". Three straight times, he abused the smaller Gordon Hayward (team-high 29 points), drilling unblockable fadeaways over his outstretched arms.

They seized the lead for the first time in the series when they went up 48-47 in the second period, and led 50-49 at halftime. In the first half, the Utah big man was getting a lot of open looks under the rim, but the Warriors were able to make adjustments and not allow similar looks down the stretch. After Game 3, Quin Snyder sounded defeated in his press conference and Rudy Gobert actually deleted a July 4, 2016 "there's only 1 ball" tweet downplaying Durant's move to Golden State.

Golden State's 97.4 defensive rating is a postseason-best and more than four points better than any other team. Golden State was 14-of-31 from 3-point land in the win. Curry and Durant hit back to back 3ss to give Golden State a 92-84 lead with 3:04 left. Golden State has yet to lose in the playoffs.

The Warriors matched their postseason low with only seven turnovers and had none after half-time.
