According to a TMZ Sports report, National Football League prospect and Ohio State standout Gareon Conley has been accused of raping a woman in the Cleveland area.
Police gathered information from Conley's accuser - a 23-year-old woman - at the hotel early that morning.
In the meantime, Conley maintains his innocence and his attorneys called the allegations "ludicrous and ridiculous".
The victim told police that she had met Conley while with some friends in an elevator at the hotel and made a decision to go with Conley back to his room. She accused Conley of forcibly having sex with her shortly after watching the other couple have sex.

No warrant has been issued or charges filed against Conley, though the investigation remains open in the Cleveland Division of Police Sex Crimes and Child Abuse Unit'. Police arrived on the scene after 3 a.m. ET and spoke to two people who identified themselves as associates of Conley. But he also could be exonerated, either by the alleged victim not pursuing the case or prosecutors deciding based on the witness testimony from the hotel room where the rape allegedly occurred that Conley would be able to establish sufficient reasonable doubt to make a trial a losing proposition.
As for Conley, two of his friends who were at the hotel were interviewed by police and told cops Conley never hooked up with the woman and that she was just mad that she got kicked out of the room.
On Jan. 13, 2013, a Florida State University student identified the now-NFL player as the person who raped her in December 2012. The accuser gave a detailed account of her alleged assault, but declined a follow-up interview with police. Police are still investigating.
The projected first-round pick is accused of raping a woman at the Westin Hotel on St. Clair Avenue on April 9.
For all the discussions about what the Eagles could do and should do, the one that made the most sense was the selection of a cornerback with the 14th overall pick.
